Core Values
Obedience – to God and His Word in all things, submitting our will to His
Evangelism – to share the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ with all people
Discipleship – to, ourselves, become Christ like and to lead others to be like Him
Self Denial – to deny our rights, to live simply and strive not to be in debt
Reformed – holding strongly to the Doctrines of Grace.
Gospel Holiness – obeying out of a great love, not fear of wrath
Righteousness – realizing that our righteousness is provided by the work of Christ on the cross, our works cannot produce righteousness. Our obedience and good works are done out of our love for God and our wanting to please Him.
Commitment – Being committed to the Kingdom of God, to grow in Christ by personal devotion to the study of the Word of God, and to support this Church with consistent attendance, giving of tithes and offerings, participating in the life of the church (i.e. fellowships functions and special events), to be active in Bible study groups and in the ministry of the Church
Family – We see the family as an important unit to the growth of the Kingdom of God. It is by strong families that we will build a strong church. Our families are committed to living a holy and Christian existence in a world that is far from perfect. We will teach the word of God to our families in family worship times. We will monitor the entertainment that fills our minds, excluding the vile. We will communicate within our families and use every opportunity to glorify the name of Christ in our homes. We will spend time together, take meals together as much as possible to build strong family bonds. We will walk in an up right and holy manner at all times in our homes.
